Joining the Chef’s Training Program usually
starts with a phone call to The Natural Gourmet. Our Admissions Representatives
are always available to answer your questions and discuss your specific
needs. They will assist you from enrollment to completion. We encourage
candidates for admission to schedule a personal or phone interview
prior to enrollment. Attending a career information Open House will
further clarify the focus of the program and the philosophy of The
Natural Gourmet Institute for Health & Culinary Arts.
The following items are required to complete the application
process:
- A completed Natural Gourmet Cookery School Application form
- Application essay
- Application fee
- Two letters of recommendation
- Documentation of high school, G.E.D., or college graduation
- Current resume
- Recent photo
- A signed copy of the Enrollment Agreement and Educational Survey
(upon acceptance)
- Tuition down payment (within two weeks of acceptance)

International Students
This school is authorized under Federal Law to enroll nonimmigrant
alien students. These students must meet all admissions requirements.
With the application for admission, an international student must
submit a completed and notarized Affidavit of Support (INS Form I-134),
as a statement of financial responsibility. The Admissions Department
will issue the M-I Student Visa Application (I-20 Form) to the student
upon formal acceptance to the Chef’s Training Program. The Natural
Gourmet Cookery School does not discriminate on the basis of race,
