Lindsey Williams learned the art of soul food cooking from his
famous grandmother, Sylvia Woods, owner of the renowned restaurant,
Sylvia’s.
A life long struggle with food addiction and obesity prompted
him to drastically change his diet and lifestyle, resulting
in the loss of more than half his body weight. His story is
chronicled in his recently published cookbook, “Neo Soul”.
Lindsey chose the Natural Gourmet Institute to hone his culinary
skills and further educate himself about the connection between
food and health.
